ON THIS PAGE YOU'LL FIND LINKS TO A LOT OF THINGS
RELATED TO WHAT IS TAUGHT HERE

and containing a lot more information
about what's in the books and videos.

MIKE AUSTIN. Here are a couple links to stuff about Mike--that GIANT, not only for his own great ball striking, but for defining specifics about how the structure of the the human body dictates the best way to align limbs and body parts for best results. He had an engineering degree from Georgia Tech, and he can be credited with being the first to apply kinesiology, physics, and dynamics to golf swing mechanics when he developed what I call "the perfect human body swing." People refer to "the Mike Austin swing." I prefer to say that he arrived at and taught the "human body" golf swing. Not the one peddled under his name by Dan Shauger, but the one he used and taught for SEVEN DECADES. First, a little "bio" of Mike-click here.  And here's another.

DAVID LEE (Gravity Golf)-- enormously influential in his contribution to our understanding of how our bodies--in addition to arms and club-- behave in and must respect the timing OF gravity. Citing Jack Nicklaus and Freddie Couples as exemplars of "pure physics in golfswing," David "nailed it!" I consider him one of the real geniuses of our time. For info about him, click here.

WILD BILL MEHLHORN and HARVEY PENICK: Mehlhorn isn't well known to youngsters, but in the mid-20ths century his popularity and unique way of teaching dispelled a lot of mystery and made a LOT of people very happy golfers. Penick is known to just about everyone! Click here for stuff about them.

HOW WE ARE UNIQUE is a good read about differences in people -- in how we process information, in our builds, our natural pace and temperament, and other important ways. THE question we address is, DOES YOUR SWING FIT YOU? Not Hogan, Couples, Sadlowski, or Annika: YOU! Click here.

HERE are some blogs and exchanges from various internet discussion forums in which I participated, discussing Single Plane theory, use of a "plane board," "A Pause at the Top," the forward press, establishing the correct plane in the backswing, and some other things. Click here.

DALTON MCCRARY, JIM HARDY, PLUMMER AND BENNETT (of "Stack & Tilt" fame), and JIMMY BALLARD: these are familiar names to golfers of my generation. Click here for info on their methods and how they fit into the broad picture of "golfswing."

TWO LINKS for details about the swing that you must know: the first concerns good timing in the release--HOW TO PREVENT THROWAWAY--i.e., how to DO it and how NOT to do it - click here.  And the second is about how to go about learning efficiently: this is simply never addressed anywhere that I am aware of. Click here.

BOBBY JONES, MOE NORMAN, and BEN HOGAN need no introduction: HERE's the skinny on them.

HOMER KELLEY -- and "The Golfing Machine." For info about its problems and errors, click here.
