Why should I believe you can really help ME?
The number and variety of people--hundreds--who have attested how much
they got helped is pretty telling. If you were to print out all the testimonials I have
posted here (some are incredibly emotional
-- start here), it would take 100 sheets of paper.
But it's not the
number of them that counts: it's their enthusiasm! When you buy something,
do you go back and thank the seller? When people get so discouraged after
many lessons, after reading tips and ideas in the golf magazines, after a LOT
of struggle and frustration in hours and hours of practice --AND THEN THEY
DISCOVER THE ANSWERS THEY HAVE DESIRED SO PASSIONATELY, they can't keep it to
themselves. They burst out in joy to say "thank you." So
the testimonials probably represent only a fraction of people who have
profited, in that usually only some will bother to "report back." In
other words, it takes a lot of enthusiasm to bother to write a letter about
it!
Here's one comment on point, for what
it may be worth:
"Not to take anything away
from Mr. Harmon but after viewing his video, I felt like I had just consumed
empty calories of instruction. Sorry, it had me looking for my Perfect
Impact videos before it was even done playing."
What's your secret then, Hibbard?
Simple: it is because communicating golf technique
and enabling another person is an art, a talent, a unique gift. Jack

not THE best pieces of work written in the field of golf instruction in a long,

reckon I had read just about every other golf instruction book ever printed,
which is probably why my handicap is now 18 whereas when I was younger and just
picked up a club and swung it was 9. I eventually got completely lost reading
conflicting advice from the "experts" -- those lucky enough to have been born
able to play the game without thinking about the mechanics, and your book and
video have been my salvation in terms of understanding more about the swing and
more importantly what not to focus on in terms of plain wrong conventional

him at tournaments going back to the 70's. Tried his "Just shift your weight"
swing from a '93 video of his that I purchased and could never make it
consistent. I have loved Vijay's swing and studied it at length, but again
could never find the consistency. I am 6'3" and 205 and so have the same body
type as these players and always knew this is the way I wanted to swing the golf
club. I picked up your book at the local library, and from there ordered your
video. You gave me the missing links! I am 62 and a 10 handicap and am now
striking the ball purer and with more ease and distance than ever before. You
have given me back my natural rhythm. I also am a piano player. Your
explanation of the "pullaway" is one I have never seen anywhere! It works! I

I received my package on Friday. I was a bit bugged because I had
specified 'COIL' on the order form because I wanted the coil-bound version
of the book, but I didn't get one. So, anyway, I was planning to write to you
today to complain about it.. But NEVER MIND! I went to the range today to
test out the first half of the book which I read - and just like all those
in your testimonials, I couldn't believe it.
"I've never hit such hard and long shots so many times in a row. Honestly
the majority of them were not perfect - most were not on the sweet spot, but
the real beauty of this is that I still got excellent distance and direction
on these mis-hits!
"Anyway, no need to go on and on - it's basically the same result/response
that you have been getting from most of your customers. I just want to add
this: I really appreciate your efforts and generosity doing this... sure you
make money from the deal, but it's a lot of work creating a book, videos,
handling customers (reading emails like this), maintaining a website, etc..
(I run my own business so I can sympathize) BUT MORE
THAN THE WORK it took to create the product - you actually put valuable
information in it and you haven't held anything back. You put your heart
into this thing and we all can feel it. There are thousands of
instructional products that profit the author, but the exchange is fair at
best. For a $50 book, one typically gets $50 worth of golf value... But your
material is more like $50 book, for a priceless value.
"You know something funny? I regretted the purchase a few days after I made
it (before I received product). I was mad at myself for being impulsive and
"falling" for the testimonials (after all.. testimonials are probably THE
most powerful marketing technique!). Geez., I am now so glad that I was
impulsive.. or should I say "exuberant". Somehow that day when I stumbled
onto your website, I just had some sort of intuition that I should try it
out (I am pretty stingy and I don't normally buy instructional stuff that I
just happen to stumble on).
"End of story.. I don't want the COIL bound version anymore. The one I have
now is fine by me!
BTW, this is the first testimonial I have ever written in my life - I'm 34
