Hi, Mr. Hibbard.
My name is Michael, from Indiana.
This is the
first time I ever have written a person or company
about a product or service I bought. This stuff is
unreal, I've been hitting the ball off mats all
winter. Ball striking was
great but the real test was
to see if the swing would hold up on grass. The
answer to that is YES!!!. Never in my 5 years of
playing golf have I hit so many balls of the center of
the club face. I hit more balls straight in one Sunday
afternoon than all 5 years of hitting golf balls
combined. I’m still working on my driver most of those
shots are very low ball flight going left and right
but the Iron shot are great. If I hit a bad iron shot
its left and its because I don't rotate my body.
But it’s a learning process.
Thank you, thank you and thank you
------------
I have had Mr.
Hibbard's PI system for about 2 months now and can honestly say that he
has made the golf swing more understandable than practically anything else
I've had before.
I, like the others, have also tried out many
other systems, books, magazines and hours of TGC Academy as well as formal
instruction.
NONE have made it more clearer and more easy
to understand than Perfect Impact. It really is almost miraculous!
I now recommend him to many of my playing
partners, coworkers, friends and relatives who are either starting out
with the game or who want to dramatically improve their swing.
I am a mid-capper (played for 4 years) and
hope to improve steadily over the next couple of years to hopefully make
it into a single digit HCP. With PI, I think my journey is now much easier
as I'm consistently hitting the ball cleanly (old faulty= topping) and
more solidly.
Try it. You have nothing to lose!
Dear
Mr. Hibbard: I recently ordered your entire program and
am thrilled so far with the results. I cannot put the book down and have
looked at the DVD's twice so far. I think after 40 years of trying to
play this game I may have found the answer. I am only half way through
the book and have been studying it since Friday when I received it in the
mail. My only problem is that the book is coming totally apart at the
seam around the middle of the book. I can live with it, but it is
annoying in that all the pages are coming out one by one. I have had
this happen on older paper back books, but not one two days old. My
order number was 002082. I am not sure if you will replace the book or
not, but if you can I would be appreciative. I can send the old one back
but I have highlighted the first half of it so far. Regardless, this is
the finest explanation of the golf swing I have yet to encounter and literally
have hundreds of books and videos on the subject. Thanks for writing
such an enlightening book. Regards, Richard, Cramerton, NC
George
Just a note to let you know that my game continues to improve with
your "perfect impact" guidelines. I still haven't figured
everything out, or worked on all of the drills, but every time I play, I become
more comfortable with your swing philosophy. Today, I shot an 80 (not that
great), but I hit 11 greens in regulation (could only make one birdie). I
was hitting the ball crisply, with excellent trajectory, and great
direction. I should have shot at least 4 or 5 strokes lower, but my putts
were burning the edge of the cup and just not going in - plus I did make a
couple of really stupid course management decisions. I have a feeling that
before this year is over, I will shoot 75 or better, and reduce my handicap to a
single digit (one of my life's goals).
I can't thank you enough for your training videos and book.
I don't even consider looking at any other golf instruction videos or books.
With "perfect Impact", I have everything I need to improve my game.
I just need to put in the time working on the drills and short game.
Best Regards.

I
have recieved your materials but havent been able to go to a golf range until
now. A guy who owns the driving range showed a little bit of stuff to me
and it was exactly what was in your book and god how he could hit! I hit
some very good shots today. Something stranged happened I hit a golf ball
a 150 yds with my pitching wedge. Also I can hit fairly straight , Still
have a ling ways to go. After we left my dad told me what that man had
said, good grip, good stance, but I rushed my back swing. Think you so
much.
----------------------------------
George,
I
just wanted to tell you how your tape has improved my game.
I
viewed your tape about a month ago, and the grip, stance and such work to almost
perfection.
Lately,
my game has returned to a bad slice on drive, and poor impact on the fairway
shots.
I
viewed your tape again yesterday, and then played a round last evening.
What a difference it made! Amazing how much I had forgotten and had to
review again, I will keep watching the tape to keep the knowledge fresh in
my head.
Thanks
for the lesson!
Sincerely,
Celeste

Hi
George....
Greetings
from Erie PA. It's still raining...and raining....and raining.
Today
was round number 72 (since April 1 ), and this story is one for the record
books!
Got
up this morning to play my usual Thursday round with my 7 buddies, and it was
(surprise!)
raining!!! I told my wife to take my car to work, as I wasn't gonna play
today anyway,
and
I wanted to take her Jeep to the local dealer to see what I could get for it on
a trade.
As
I left the house at 7:45, I realized that she drove away with my clubs and
shoes,
and
the rain was subsiding. I went back inside to get HER clubs, with the
slight chance that we may play
nine
holes. By the time I got to my course, the rain had stopped, and the boys
wanted to play.
My
wife's clubs are some kinda knock-offs, and she uses a Putt-Putt putter, and she
didn't have a new ball in her bag!
So
here I am, without my weapons, without my shoes, without my Pro V 1's, and
without my glasses!!!
(
I wear bifocals, and I keep my non-bifocal glasses in my golf bag ). But I
thought, what the heck,
and
decided to play anyway. Needless to say, without my golf shoes, on wet
grass, I better swing
extra
easy today in order to keep my balance.
I
must tell you in advance, George, that each and every detail of this story is
verifiably true, and
I
have 7 witnesses to prove it.
I
promptly fired a career best 36 on the front.....and 3-putted three times on the
back ( with that
damnned
Putt-Putt putter of hers) for a 38! That totals 74....beating my career
best by a stroke!!!!
All
the while employing the Perfect Impact principles.....if you were here, I'd kiss
you.
Just
thought I'd let you in on this adventure, as the golf keeps on improving....even
if the weather doesn't.
Print
this out, and show it to the skeptics, if you want to.
Best
wishes,
Jerry
R.
P.S.
Every one of my friends think that my increased length off the tee (about 50-60
yards) is all
because
of my new driver....but we know better, don't we?
------------
Hi
George,
Some
advice if you would be so kind (again). Firstly, let me tell you that I shot 81
last week on a Par72 course - my best ever by at least 4 shots! Anyway, I have
been keeping stats for my last 8 rounds, and am hitting between 60 & 74% of
fairways, around 50 % with my driver, but the misses haven't been too bad.
I
feel that I am now beginning to make some real progress with this game, and once
I stop having a blow up or 2 on every round, that I will shoot in the 70s
consistently (my goal). While my shots have been much straighter, I have still
been playing with a fade on my longer irons, and my driver. Being greedy for
more yardage, I bought a new 450cc driver last week, and my 2 outings with it at
the range have produced mostly slices and some pulls. I think that this club has
emphasised that although much improved, my swing path was still out to in! Last
night I revisited the chapter in your book concerning driving, and took on board
the bits about using the base of the right wrist to push the left hand (is this
the chopping/axe move you describe elsewhere?) Having spent the best part of 18
months persevering with Dalton McCrary's swing technique, I have been reluctant
to involve the right hand/arm actively in my downswing for fear of coming over
the top or casting the club. Have I been wrong to do this? I also noticed that
by using my right wrist more in the swing, the club was approaching the ball
much more from inside the line. Is this likely? or a direct result? I use a very
strong left hand grip, so can't figure out why my driver won't return to the
ball square. My other theory is that my feet may be too far apart and I'm not
transfering my weight correctly.
If
you can advise me on this, I would be much obliged.
Thanks,
Bren
(GEA)
PS
My family
& I will be visiting Florida next Summer (2004), and I would love to visit
you for a lesson - if possible!

Mr. Hibbard
First, I would like to share with you how excited I am about your video "5
Minutes To A Perfect Golf Swing," which I purchased about two weeks ago.
I
have an intense passion for golf, my wife says I'm obsessive, but frankly my
golf game stinks. I play a lot of golf, spend hours at the range, have
taken lessons, and yet progress has come at a snails pace. The lowest
score
I have ever shot was 91. Your video was an eye-popping experience
for me,
now I have hope! After I have fully digested "5 Minutes" my plan
is to
purchase your book and 4 hr. video.
May I ask two questions? I have a niece who is 12 years old, is she to
young attend your school in St. Augustine? Second, to make my left thumb
follow the line on the floor (if actual there or imaginary) I have gotten
into the habit of opening up the face of the club very early during the
takeaway. The club face is parallel to the line on the floor after it has
traveled back (to the right) only 12 to 15 inches. From my perspective this
is the movement that takes my left thumb from the setup position, to
parallel to the line, so as to allow my thumb to follow the line. Is that
correct? I don't want to paint a mustache on the Mona Lisa, to screw-up a
totally sound concept right from the beginning.
Thank you for taking the time to read my e-mail.
Your fan, and devotee:

Dear
George,
It's
been several months now since I purchased your tapes & book and I still am
improving. I've gone from a less than desirable member of team play to one
that is desired in our local scrambles.
The
purpose of this email is to say that I have been advocating your method to all
who will listen. Tomorrow I am loaning my tapes to a retired school
teacher friend of mine who just had hip replacement. He used to coach golf
in high school but somehow has lost his swing. I turned him on to your
site (thought he would purchase) but couldn't refuse him when he wanted to
'borrow' my set. Also my father who is 86 and still has the competitive
spirit viewed the tapes during a recent visit. So.....since these tapes
are my 'bible of golf' and you don't make any money from free viewing I am
councious bound to see that you get your due. I will be sending you a
check for the full purchase price of your 3 volumn set but do not want you to
send another set. Just my way of saying thank you.
By
the way, since receiving your tapes I suscribed to the Golf Channel.
Watching the old Bobby Jones movie shorts shows that your method has much in
common with the fluid swing he advocated and reinforced the image to me.
You are probably too young (wink) to remember the old Dynaflow transmissions in
General Motor's cars, but when I start getting ahead of my swing I relate your
admonition of starting the forward motion just before the backswing has reached
completion to the Dynaflow slow 'wind up' as it started to move the vehicle
forward. ( I just couldn't quite relate to the skier analogy as well) If
you do remember them you may recall how you could shift from reverse to forward
and it took a second for it to change directions.
Wishing
you the best and many thanks.
Fred
Dear George,
Just wanted to thank you for making golf an
enjoyable game for me, finally.
After 30 odd years of on again off again trying
to hit a ball with my homemade swing I now have a swing that is effortless,
consistent and just plain fun to do!
I must admit that perhaps I'm one of the 'slow
learners' you refer to. After laying off any golf for several years I
started playing again with limited success with the old 'hit' swing.
After trying to convert to a real swing I got totally screwed up for about a
month. I think it was because like many lunkheads I tried to get ahead
of your instructions. But...I didn't give up. It was either learn
it or quit all together.
Happy
to report...I GOT IT!!!!
Thank you, thank you & thank you
Fred
I ordered the entire
training package about a week ago on a whim (maybe this is the
answer for me?). Received the package about 4 days ago. There is a
short pamphlet and single video that explains the general concept.
There is also a 3 video set along with a more detailed instruction
book.
I have purchased probably 10 or so golf
videos over the last 4 years, and have tried a number of other video
golf training "systems", which I have returned, including
AJ Golf (just in the last two weeks). The Perfect Impact Golf
training videos and books definetly work for me. There are no card
tricks or guitar playing (like AJ's video - entertaining, but not
really helpful). What you get is easy to follow, detailed golf swing
instruction that you can tailor to your physical characteristics.
After reading the pamphlet, watching the general video, and the
first of three videos, I did some of the swing drills in the
evening, then tried the "new swing out at the driving"
range this morning.
All I can say is that this teaching
method works for me. I was hitting beautiful high penetrating and
straight shots with club after club. Not all of the shots were
great, but the vast majority of them were the best I have ever hit.
I can hardly wait to get on the golf course on Monday (I'm retired).
I give the Perfect Impact video
training package my highest recommendation. It's worth at least
trying - it's a money back gurantee (within 12 months of purchase).
George's book and tapes have been
a wonderful asset for me since I purchased last spring. His method of teaching
is simply stated and well illustrated. I have played for over 50-years and
mostly at a reasonably good level, have had instruction from great club
professionals but none as well put as George. Every time my swing starts to go
wrong again, I revert to his "rule of the left thumb" and get my swing
path and plane back on track. You seem to be like I was, very impressed by
George's explanations on this forum so I would recommend that you too should get
his book and video. You will not regret it and they'll last forever. Also,
George is very responsive to any direct questions you may wish to load on him
which is good to know.

--------
After reading
a post somewhere I decided to try out the Perfect Impact-5 minutes to a perfect
golf swing by George Hibbard. At first I was somewhat sceptical as I have tried
so many other tapes but this one is so simple I could not believe it.
After watching the video and reading the manual that came with it I grabbed my
bag and headed for the range. My results were unbelievable as I was even able to
hit my 3 iron well. My ball flight is much straighter even though I have lost
about 1/2 club length due to not using a full swing yet but when I do work up to
full swing I should be back up to or even a little better in distance.
I have always had a problem with weight shift but am now on track and becoming
more of a swinger and not so much of a hitter. I am presently a 16 handicapper
and can see those numbers dropping in the near future. It may not be for
everyone but if like me you have tried lessons, books, videos, and even lengthy
prayers then try it out,it just may help you.The website is www.perfectimpact.com
Good luck to all in the never ending search for a better swing!

---------------------
Similar
experience with me.
I ordered the system 2 months ago but couldn't really try at the range until
recently because of the snow. It works......... very, very well!
I play to about a 14 handicap and (am told) have a pretty good swing. My misses
are usually thin shots and occasional hook or block shot.
While I still miss a shot now and then, I am much more consistent and because I
play with blades that provide very good feedback, I can quickly tell if I'm
hitting it solid or not. For the most part, many of them are much more solid
shots.
Mr. Hibbard's system is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it to
friends and coworkers both new and experienced to the game. His PI system
enables one to fully understand the golf swing instead of trying to get to
positions/motions that many of us simply cannot accomplish because of our body
types.
I have read quite a bit on golf instruction (books, magazines.... you name it)
and have seen countless videos as well. Some are good, but I have found that
none of them puts it all together nearly as well as George Hibbard's Perfect
Impact system.
Check him out. You really don't have much to lose.
Just my GO.

I have never hit
the golf ball as consistently as I do now. I read your book and studied
your video's and your lessons worked for me. I have even begun practicing
intentional hooks and slices. Same swing just an adjustment of club and it
works. I have only been hitting balls on the practice range. I am
eager to see if I can take my success from the practice tee to the course.

Hi George,
I really have thank you for sending me the perfect Impact book and
video. About a month ago I decided to pick up golf again after having
been away for quite a few years. I had a few lessons and then started
going to the range and after a week I went onto the golf course. Well, I
stunk! I was topping shots, slicing terribly and going from hazard to
hazard. I was stuck playing with some real jerks who did not like the
fact that I was hacker and they would put the flag back before I was
even on the green. I was angry, frustrated, and embarrassed.
So, I started going to the driving range every day (and I mean every
day!). I hit 200 - 300 balls a day and just kept getting worse. I began
to hate the sight of the club. Well, I finally ordered the video and the
book and continued going to the range. On Thursday (The day before the
book arrived) I came whisker close to leaving my clubs at the driving
range and deciding that golf was not for me.
The next day the book and video arrived and I decided to give golf one
last best shot. I watched the video and read the book and decided to
give you seven days. I did the first drill (With the poles) and within
about fifteen minutes I realized what a golf swing really was. I did
that drill a bunch of times through the day and then started doing the
next drill. That really made things click. So that weekend I gave about
six hours a day to those two drills. I even had my wife tape me doing
them so I could make sure they were being done correctly.
On Monday, I did the drill in the morning and then in the afternoon went
to the range. I hit a few slices and then did the drill again and made
sure to use do the grip as you explained it. The next ball I hit went
240 yards and dead straight. I could not believe it. I have never hit a
ball like that in my life! Then, I kept doing the drill and hitting the
balls. Most of them went dead straight. I did have a bit of a fade on
some shots but they were going so far it did not bother me.
I came home and told my wife and she was incredulous. She had seen me at
the practice range the week before and she had to see this for herself.
So I did more of the drill that night and the next day and then we went
to the range. She brought her video camera with her. The first one I hit
was a 250 yard shot with just a slight fade. She yelled so loud that
everybody looked at us. I hit a bunch more and they all went very far
and mostly straight. I was hitting them to the fence at the end of the
range! I have never had so much fun at the driving range. I was really
enjoying this.
When I got home I went across the street to the golf course and was put
with a group of three guys. I told them I was not a good golfer so they
would not be upset at my slow play. They were actually pretty good guys
and said they didn't care how I played. Well my first shot off the tee
was about a 230 yard hit with a slice. I was on the green in three (on a
480 yard Par 5). I have never been on the green on less than five
strokes on a par 5 in my life. I did not putt that well, but didn't
really care.
On the next 12 holes I was on the green in two under par-I have never
had anything like this happen before. Then I had a couple of bad holes
and found the water and the sand but I was actually playing better than
two of the other guys. I ended up with a 108! The best I have ever done
before this was a 130! It was actually my short game that killed me as I
three putted on most of the holes and I am not very comfortable with my
pitching wedge. But I enjoyed this day of golf like no other. I know
that I can get down to a respectable handicap if I just work on my short
game. I never worried about my short before because I was usually up
over seven strokes by the time I got to the green.
I really want to thank you for this simple yet profound video. I hate
doing drills but the two drills you have, are so simple and they made
the lights go on so quickly that I enjoy doing them. I am obsessed with
the drills and bring my club to work with me in order to do them. I did
the first drill a bunch of times on the course and it helped much more
than a practice swing would have. Thanks again for giving me the gift of
golf!
